Happy Poetry Friday! Our friend Margaret is hosting today at her space Reflections on the Teche. Don't miss out on the poetry fun! This week, I am back at the ridge with my friend, the moon. Yes, that's right, the moon again. I never grow tired of giving the moon praise for my writing inspiration. The moon is one of those magnetic topics for me. I feel drawn to write about it whenever I might feel a little empty. Thanks to the moon, my writing can always fill itself full. Invitation to Write:Writers have different ways of filling their writing life with an abundance of words. What strategies do you have for bringing fullness to your writing?

Dear Kiesha, how much do I love this poem? To the moon and back, for sure! I like thinking of you on the ridge with your moon. Beautiful!

I love that "mighty" moon, too, Kiesha. It was a beauty this week!

Lovely, Keisha. With all eyes on the approaching solar eclipse, it's nice of you to throw the moon a little love.

This is the perfect poem to read after reading "Moonlight" over at Kurious Kitty. The moon--and your poetic tribute to it--is indeed magical.

Kiesha, you are full again just like the moon. What a delightful poem! This reminds me that it's time to send in an offering for my Sunkissed Summer Gallery. Maybe it is this one.

Isn't it wonderful to think of all the countless people before us who have looked up at that same moon and smiled? It's something that belongs to all of us, but that we can all experience individually. Such a treasure.

Hi Keisha, I never tire of the moon either! I like the relationship you've created between the full moon and your being full again. Isn't the light the moon casts when it's full spectacular, thanks!
